Classical Belts are recommended for special applications such as V-flat drives, as they are advantageous when reverse idlers have to be used due to their smaller thickness. The belts have a top width to height ratio of 1.6:1 and a maximum recommended belt speed of 30 m/s, with a permissible flex rate of 80 per second.
The PIX-X'set Classical / Wedge / Narrow Section Belts also feature a special CR-treated outer jacketing fabric for higher durability, as well as being anti-static, oil & heat resistant. The maximum belt linear speed for these belts varies: Classical section up to 30 m/sec, Wedge section up to 42 m/sec, and Narrow section up to 45 m/sec. The temperature range for these belts is -30°C to +80°C.
